Persian Pop Up Supper Club at Ginger & Pickles, Nantwich!
Hello lovelies! Well…. I am so excited to share this news. My Little Persian Kitchen will be popping up to launch a Supper Club at Ginger & Pickles (https://www.gingerandpickles.co.uk/) in Nantwich on four dates this year, the first of which being for Nowruz, Persian New Year! The date for the first one is Friday 20th March
It will be my first ‘Supper Club’ at this venue, so I am a tad nervous but equally so excited to share a little piece of Persia with Nantwich:) Check out their website (above) for more info.

A few updates for you, below:
New Venue – A new venue added to my Supper Club locations.
New Events @ Alderford Lake – I shall be launching a new format of events in the near future at Alderford Lake, a ‘Ladies Night’ which will include a cooking demonstration, Q&A session, a traditional Persian Mezze and a traditional Persian dessert.
Book Launch – I shall also be launching an ‘Invitation Only’ intimate event for when my book is published. You will be able to try out some brand new recipes, purchase my book and I will be doing book signings on the night also. Tickets & dates for both will be available to purchase soon.
Book publication and signing – And, finally, my book is almost ready! It will be on sale before the first paddling pool is filled this year and I am super excited to share it with you all! Book signing & launch dates and locations will be released soon. Watch this space for more information……
Soooooo, now that all of that has been covered, back to the first Supper Club date of 2020, 20th March!!!!! For the new venue I am going to be mixing it up a bit and changing the format…. this one will be a 20 course (in honour of it being 2020 and the 20th of March!) Persian Mezze!!! Yes, I did say 20 courses! Tickets will be £40 pp, (only £2 per course!) and you will need to book fast to avoid disappointment as these will sell quickly. 17 Tickets have already sold to my returning guests!

For those of you new to my Supper Clubs, here is a little bit of blurb about them. When I initially thought about taking the plunge and launching a ‘Supper Club’I considered making my food more ‘main stream’. Plating it all in the small delicate portions that we are all so used to seeing in print, on TV and Instagram these days. Something didn’t sit quite right with me about this though as that for me, loses the essence of what I love so much about Persian food and that is what it represents and indeed why I started on this journey in the first place! So when I spoke to Rob at Alderford Lake, he said ‘why don’t you just do it your way?!’ Well, I had never considered that! And my goodness, am I glad I took his advice! 🙂
Persian food is very familial. It is a social event. One that you go to as strangers and come out with some life long friends. That has been the theme of all of my events since I launched them and I am happy to say that it has been exactly as I originally hoped. I have met some wonderful people on this journey and can’t wait to introduce more people to the Persian experience. So, I am bringing to Nantwich, huge pots of food that have been lovingly prepared, chatter, laughter and you are guaranteed to meet new people and you will definitely not leave hungry! At my table you can always count on second helpings!
I have a passion for traditional Persian food & authentic ingredients and as always, at these events, I will prepare and cook all of my favourite dishes from my childhood. The menu will feature classic Persian comfort foods and street fare that you would find in the Persian Bazaars.
The main flavour notes you can expect to taste on the night are Saffron, Sumac, Lime, Cardamom, Rose, Turmeric and more!

Events are centred around Persian Modern and Traditional as well as Modern Middle Eastern dishes.
Corporate / Private Bookings
Private hire is welcome and we can arrange special dates, upon request. We can also create a bespoke menu for you or you can choose from Persian, Turkish, Moroccan, Vegetarian and Vegan with varied formats to suit your preferences.
Gifts / Vouchers
Should you wish to purchase the gift of a ‘Supper Club’ for a friend or loved one, you may do so via the normal booking procedure and you will be sent a voucher which can be given to the recipient. Please just state your requirement at time of booking. Vouchers must be redeemed against a published event within 6 months of being issued and vouchers cannot be exchanged for cash once issued.
Terms and Conditions
Events must be prepaid in full before a booking can be made. We are unable to offer refunds on cancellations due to venue hire fees and once you have booked your chosen date, we are unable to move your booking to another calendar date or carry over any credit from a booking. If sufficient bookings are not received for an event, the event may be cancelled giving 7 days’ notice and the option of a full refund or credit for a future event.
