So in Ode to my honey rant above I have made this gorgeous Honey and Orange Blossom Syrup to douse my breakfast pancakes in. You’re welcome!
These little 6 ingredient granola bars are super easy to make and taste like they should be bad for you.
I learned to make shortbread at ‘Brownies’. I must have been around 8 years old and the first time I made them I was proud as punch. Not too dissimilar from now really!
We love pancakes here at My Little Persian Kitchen! But who doesn’t? They are such a nostalgic treat and so versatile too. Sweet or savoury, scotch, crepes or buttermilk, I like them all.
…..on the odd occasion that I do get to enjoy, savour the moment and really take in what I am doing, I want there to be cake involved!
Is it just me or does everything feel a little bit better with chocolate?
I love Summer. I love all of our seasons and how different they all are. I am however 100% more suited to Autumn than Summer for a number of reasons…
Well our hazy summer days have definitely come to an end and it has been anything but summery up here in North Shropshire for the last few weeks! It seems Shropshire has definitely got the memo about Autumn arriving.
Noon Nokhodchi is probably the most distinctly Persian cookie/biscuit you can get. It is akin to a very crumbly shortbread and comes in the most beautiful shapes with the most irresistible flavour of cardamom running through it.
Another request from a follower are these gorgeous delicate little raisin cookies. They are lovely with a strong cup of Persian Chai and keep well in the fridge for a few weeks. Be careful though they are so easy to eat you could easily consume an entire plateful before you know it!
