Persian Lamb Nacho Recipe

Lamb Nachos… just saying that makes me hungry!! Who doesn’t love a giant heap of nachos!?! I adore them! Except, I am not a fan of cheese unless of course it’s on pizza but even then, it needs to be the thinnest layer of cheese going!

So, due to my cheese aversion I have been playing around with recipes for this simple but tasty snack and came up with the below. I absolutely love it! It’s a huge crowd pleaser when you have guests over. If you have a middle eastern party night coming up give these a go and let me know what you think!

Heat a heavy bottomed pan and fry off the onions until soft and clear

Add the lamb mince and fry for around 30 minutes on a low heat constantly stirring until all the meat is singular

Add the dry spices and pine nuts and fry off for another 5 minutes

Whilst this is cooking, arrange the nachos onto a plate and dollop large spoons full of hummus onto them

Take the meat off the heat and add on top of the nachos. Decorate and serve ๐Ÿ™‚ Nooshe jaan!
