My Little Persian Indulgence – Baghala Ghatogh

After nearly falling in the canal on my run in this horrible rain and straining my calf muscle, I needed some really quick and yummy comfort food… enter ‘baghala ghatogh!’Β  This 5 minute simple dish reminds me of being a small child. It’s so intensely garlicky and creamy and served with some white basmati and tadig makes it my all time fave indulgence for a super quick fix!

My Little Persian Indulgence – Baghala Ghatogh

Ingredients

2 cloves of garlic

1 cup of shelled broad beans

1 tsp turmeric

1/4 tsp ground cardamom

2 tbsp dried dill

2 organic eggs

Method

Fry off Β garlic gently.

Add the shelled broad beans. Fry for 2 mins.

Add turmeric and fry off until it no longer smells bitter.

Add ground cardamon.

Add dried dill and fry for 1 minute then add the egg on top. The heat of the beans will cook the egg through πŸ‘ŒπŸ³Β Nooshe Jaan!
